A variety of truffle coatings such as dark or double dutched cocoa power, powdered sugar, instant coffee, hot cocoa mix, crushed peppermint, etc.
Assemble one or more yummy coatings like dark cocoa powder, powdered sugar, peppermint pieces, or instant coffee. We've even tried hot cocoa mix. Place each in a bowl or small plate.
Start with a jar of Bumbleberry Farms Dark Chocolate, Chocolate Raspberry, or Peppermint Mocha Honey Cream that has been refrigerated overnight. Using a small melon baller or spoon, remove enough honey cream to roll into a one-inch ball.
Dredge the balls in one of the selected coatings, then gently place the truffle on a plate. Continue until you've made a dozen or so truffles. Return the covered truffles to the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Serving suggestion: Pair with a merlot, cabernet, or other dry red wine for an especially decadent dessert.
